High-magnesium Spheroidizing agent is wrapped with strip steel to form a wire for use. During spheroidization, the cored wire is directly inserted into the molten iron with adjusted composition in the spheroidizing ladle by a wire-feeding machine to initiate the spheroidization reaction, achieving a Spheroidizing agent absorption rate of over 90%. It is applied in the production of all ductile iron castings.
Metallic calcium wire is primarily used for the production of pure-calcium cored wire; it features a dense, compact structure, a smooth surface, and a bright metallic luster. The wire has a diameter of 6.0–8.0 mm, is wrapped in plastic film, and is packaged in sealed steel drums filled with argon gas, with each drum containing approximately 170 kg.
