Description
Metallic calcium wire is primarily used for the production of pure-calcium cored wire; it features a dense, compact structure, a smooth surface, and a bright metallic luster. The wire has a diameter of 6.0–8.0 mm, is wrapped in plastic film, and is packaged in sealed iron drums filled with argon gas, with each drum containing approximately 170 kg.
①. High calcium activity, excellent flexibility of the calcium wire with few joints, and a calcium content of 97% or higher.
②. After the calcium wire is rolled into a solid-core calcium wire, the calcium treatment process will not introduce other oxides present in powdered-core wires, thereby avoiding contamination of the molten steel.
③. The calcium filaments are more uniform, with higher and more stable active calcium content per meter, ensuring more consistent calcium treatment performance.
