Description
Ferrosilicon is an iron-silicon alloy composed of iron and silicon, made by smelting with coke, steel scraps, and quartz (or silica) in an electric furnace. It is used as a Decomposer and alloying agent in steelmaking.
Ferrosilicon powder is made from high-quality ferrosilicon and is mainly used in the later stages of smelting processes such as steelmaking and casting as a diffusion decomposer and Fertilizer. The commonly used specifications are 0–3 mm and 3–8 mm.
