Silicon-calcium alloy is processed into powder by being wrapped in strip steel.
①. Suitable for deoxidation and desulfurization in steelmaking, it can improve steel properties, enhance ductility and impact toughness, and increase the fluidity of molten steel; moreover, it can be directly added to the molten steel for uniform dissolution and even distribution.
②. It not only retains the original deoxidation effectiveness of silicon-calcium alloy but also enhances the depth of calcium reactions, thereby improving calcium recovery.
③. It facilitates the adjustment and control of the content of easily oxidizable elements and trace elements, significantly improves alloy recovery, reduces smelting costs, shortens smelting time, and enables precise compositional control.
④. It can purify the molten steel and partially modify the nature and morphology of inclusions, thereby improving the quality of the molten steel and enhancing casting performance.
