Solid cored pure calcium wire

　　Solid cored pure calcium wire is manufactured by rolling and crimping a steel strip around an inner calcium wire core. After the completion of molten-steel refining, the wire is fed into the molten steel using a wire-feeding device at a feeding rate of 60–120 m/s and a dosage of 0.8–1.5 m per tonne; it is suitable for calcium treatment during molten-steel refining.

　　①. The calcium treatment process does not introduce other oxides present in the powder feed line, thereby avoiding contamination of the molten steel;

　　②. It features a high-density core rod, which facilitates quality inspection and reduces the surface area of the core wire, thereby extending its shelf life and minimizing calcium oxide inclusions that can contaminate the molten steel.

　　③. More uniform calcium content per meter and higher, more stable active calcium content, ensuring more consistent calcium treatment performance;

　　④. A thicker external steel shell and a high-density pure calcium core rod enable calcium to be delivered to deeper regions of the molten steel, where it can react fully below the critical depth, thereby achieving a higher calcium recovery rate;
