Description
Silicon-aluminum-barium-calcium is a composite Decomposer and desulfurizer for steelmaking. It is suitable for deoxidation in various steelmaking processes, especially for oxygen-deoxidation in converter steelmaking.
①. It can reduce the oxygen content in steel to an extremely low level while simultaneously forming complex inclusions containing calcium, barium, aluminum, and other elements that float to the surface of the molten steel, thereby purifying the steel melt and enhancing its impact toughness and formability.
②. It has low solubility in molten steel, but can dissolve calcium and reduce the vapor pressure of calcium, thereby enhancing calcium’s effectiveness in deoxidation and non-metallic inclusion control.
③. Improve the flow characteristics of molten steel, resolve nozzle clogging, enhance steel quality, and reduce costs;
